The Job Description

A boutique real estate firm in Seattle is seeking a Property Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of residential properties. You will oversee a group of approximately 50 single-family homes, townhomes, and condos throughout Seattle and the Eastside. You will be responsible for leasing up the properties, communicating with tenants and owners, conducting showings for prospective tenants, doing move-in and move-out inspections, and coordinating repairs with vendors. We are looking for a detail-oriented, patient, and empathetic person with excellent follow-through and a positive attitude. If you do not already have one, a Washington state real estate license is required to do this job, so you must be willing to get a real estate license in order to apply for this job.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lease properties, to include showing units and screening prospective tenants

  • Work with the sales team to close and onboard new owners

  • Conduct move-in and tenant orientations

  • Handle tenant requests, including coordinating property maintenance and repairs with vendors

  • Perform scheduled interior and exterior property inspections

  • Coordinate lease renewals

  • Conduct move-outs

You are an energetic, ambitious person with a reservoir of patience and empathy to assist clients through thick and thin. You are organized and enjoy working in systems. You are an excellent communicator in written and spoken interactions with everyone - whether a vendor, owner, tenant, or prospective tenant. You are humble, open-minded, and looking to grow personally and professionally as our team's sixth member!


Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • A willingness to grow personally and professionally


Preferences:

  • College Degree

  • Active Washington state real estate license

  • Working knowledge of Washington, King County, and Seattle Landlord/Tenant law

  • 2+ years of customer service experience; prior administrative experience and experience in property and real estate management highly desirable

  • Previous experience with Buildium or similar property management software

  • Previous experience with Asana or similar project management software
