Public Transit Options:

King County Metro Bus service covers a healthy portion of West Seattle, and includes the Rapid Ride H (formerly the 120 bus), the Rapid Ride C, as well as the 50, and 21 buses and their ancillaries.

The King County Water Taxi shuttles commuters back and forth between the West Seattle Water Taxi Pier on Harbor Ave SW and Pier 50 in downtown Seattle. Passengers are allowed to bring bicycles and strollers onboard.

Washington State Ferries operate from the Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal in southwest West Seattle, connecting commuters to and from both Vashon Island and Southworth

There are four Light Rail Stations that are scheduled to open in 2032, but there are many details to be ironed out between now and then, including the exact path that the trains would travel, and the final locations of the stations.

Surrounded by water on three sides: Puget Sound to the west and Elliott Bay to the east. The southern boundary is generally understood to be SW Roxbury St.
