Market Update - September 2025

Welcome to fall, welcome back to school, welcome declining interest rates. As the season changes, Seattle’s housing market is adjusting too, with shifts in inventory, buyer demand, and opportunities for both sellers and buyers. Join Aaron and Diane for a quick look at what’s driving the market this month.

In Seattle, the median home price was slightly up 8.63% from August 2024, coming in at $900,000. Over on the Eastside, the median sale price came in at $1,350,000, down 1.64% year-over-year. Looking across all of King county, home sale prices were up 1.75%, coming in at $875,000.
