Are narwhals real? Yes.

What is a narwhal? A narwhal is a type of whale, similar to a beluga whale.

Why narwhals?

The narwhal is our mascot! We adopted the narwhal as our unofficial mascot in early 2018 after we started using the project management software Asana. Occasionally, when you complete a task in Asana, a purple narwhal appears as “delight” to reward you for your effort. This, of course, led to a significant increase in productivity and joy throughout the office.
